Alicia moved to France in 2007, with her husband and 2 young daughters.

BA (Bachelor of Arts) Dual Honours Modern Languages (Spanish & Russian) with Comparative Political Studies - Northumbria University at Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Currently employed to teach English to adults at various educational establishments in Poitiers. Also, currently working with French High school students providing an "atelier d'anglais" after school as well as delivering English at a local Primary school on a weekly basis.
Self-employed and currently teaching Key Stage 1 & 2 Literacy classes to British children at Accents Association. In addition, providing literacy workshops for British & French children locally during the school holidays.
Responsible for the organisation & running of the "Civray Café de Langues" on a weekly basis to promote social integration of UK immigrants into the region & develop community links.
Previously employed as an "intervenant" by the Inspection Académique de la Vienne & the Rectorat de Poitiers to teach English to Primary age children throughout the region.
Experience of working with teenagers in the UK coming from difficult backgrounds & lacking basic life skills socially & educationally.
Mrs Valerie Lewis
Val came to live in France over 11 years ago, after having had a house here for over 14 years. She retired from teaching in the UK and is currently teaching KS3 & iGCSE English Language at Accents Association.
